About Rachel Forman

Rachel Forman is principal of the forman group, a leading real estate industry marketing consulting firm. As a consultant, Rachel has provided comprehensive marketing services to a variety of clients including; O&S Holdings, The Downtown Center Business Improvement District, Federal Realty Investment Trust, TrizecHahn, The Irvine Company and CBRE.

Rachel has provided in depth strategy and analysis for over 6 million square feet of retail, residential and office space. Her career highlights include having planned and implemented several grand opening programs including; Bridge Street Town Centre in Huntsville, AL, Paseo Colorado in Pasadena, CA, Santana Row in San Jose, CA and Prudential Center in Boston, MA.

Prior to establishing her own firm, Rachel was the Vice President, Corporate Marketing for O&S Holdings. For nearly five years, Rachel was responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of the corporate identity and branding efforts of O&S Holdings. In addition, she oversaw all development related marketing programs for retail, residential, office and hospitality projects, as well as the day-to-day efforts over 2 million square feet of the operating properties.

Prior to joining O&S Holdings, Rachel was the Senior Marketing Director for the Downtown Center Business Improvement District (DCBID) in Downtown Los Angeles. There she conceptualized the overall branding strategy for the Downtown area. In addition, she served as liaison to over 250 residential, retail and office property owners, cultural institutions, real estate brokers/developers, tourist and entertainment facilities.

Prior to the DCBID, Rachel was a Marketing Director at several nationally recognized shopping centers including Horton Plaza in San Diego, CA; Prudential Center in Boston, MA; Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks, CA; and Palm Desert Town Center in Palm Desert, CA. In addition, Rachel was the International Advertising and Sales Promotions Manager for Talbots overseeing marketing of 25 stores in Canada and the United Kingdom.

Rachel is a graduate of the University of Arizona and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
